MEET AND PLAN: First we meet in person or over the phone to discuss the scope of the site and/or social media, existing or desired branding and the aesthetic you want to portray. I learn about your business history and goals as well as what you’ve done and what you aspire to do with your business. We also discuss the competitions’ websites - what you like/don’t like about them. After our meeting I send you a summary email and we discuss whether you’d like to move forward and if so we talk thru next steps and timelines.

BUILD AND LAUNCH: As I work on your project I’ll contact you and have you link over to the in-progress site and/or social media. You'll send me feedback, and I'll send you revisions, and we'll keep doing that until the design is complete. During this phase I’ll make sure SEO standards are met, all links and forms are functional, any requested social media is connected properly and test on a variety of screens and browsers. You can also test it and make any final changes before we go Live!

MAINTAIN AND UPDATE: Some of my clients need ongoing updates to their websites. Others don’t need updates more than maybe 1-2x per year. It is my intention to create a site that is going to endure as you business grows, but I am here if you need me. My rate for support is $80 per hour billed in half hour increments with a minimum of $40. Ongoing and monthly maintenance contracts are also available. Read more about pricing below.

DESIGN: After we talk through your project I will provide you with an estimate. Because every project is different I give a range within which the completed project will fall. I bill hourly at $80/hr.

COST FOR HOSTING: I design sites using Squarespace.  The cost approximately is approximately $130 per year for hosting and another $10-15 per year for your domain if not included and/or if you don’t already have one. If you have over 20 pages or plan to sell online (eCommerce) the cost annually is approx. $200 per year. These are ongoing charges and a credit card is required and will be debited directly from the provider annually or monthly as you prefer.
